Vivint Smart Home Arena will be filled to it's fullest capacity as of game one against either the Dallas Mavericks or the Los Angeles Clippers.
Vivint Arena is located just west of downtown Salt Lake City, approximately five minutes from team hotels and about 15 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport. Situated at 301 West South Temple, just two blocks from the Salt Palace Convention Center, Vivint Arena is within walking distance from downtown hotels, restaurants and Temple Square. Vivint Arena is well known for being one of the hardest places to play for visiting teams in the NBA. According to an NBA Players Poll taken by Sports Illustrated on February 11, 2008, the Vivint Arena is considered "the most intimidating arena in the NBA" with 20% of the vote made up of 240 current NBA players. Also, during the 1997 NBA Finals, NBC's Hannah Storm called the then-named Delta Center "one of the loudest places in sports." A ribbon board extends 360 degrees at multiple levels within the seating bowl. The Jazz have a wide variety of color schemes for both their uniforms and the court. These include the purple, navy and gold colors that were carried over from the team’s New Orleans days to a red and burnt orange package that accentuates the western heritage of the franchise. Vivint Arena is Salt Lake City’s main sports and entertainment center frequented by online casino players. The arena’s PA Announcer, Dave Roberts, has been with the facility since it opened in 1991. To reduce operating expenses, more than 2,500 solar panels have been mounted on the roof of the arena. The Ford Fan Zone is located on the upper level of Vivint Smart Home Arena and offers basketball fans an all you can eat experience during Utah Jazz games. The food items provided to basketball fans include nachos, popcorn, ice cream, hot dogs, and soda. The name for the 19,911-seat facility, formerly known as EnergySolutions Arena, will be the Vivint Smart Home Arena.
At the four main corners of the main concourse guests are offered specialty menus from Maxwell’s pizza, fresh Mexican from El Chubasco, R&R bbq, and premium burgers/sandwiches from Cubby’s. Other low scale vendors such as Cup Bop, Chik-Fil-A, and J dawgs can be found a one of the concourses. At each food place there are high definition tv’s so guests can view the event while getting refreshments. With the plethora of options guests are ensured to find just what they are looking for.
Lexus Club
A “park and walk” with 10,000 spots is within a 2 block radius as well as other parking options around downtown that offer free trax service to the stadium. Relatively inexpensive Uber and Lyft are also offered to and from the venue. Check out the parking map provided by Vivint to find the best option for you.
In addition to these major events, Vivint Arena also offers a wide range of other events for visitors. One such event that attracts players to the Vivint Arena is the opportunity to witness some of the most exciting sports games in person. Construction began on June 11, 1990 and was completed in record-time—15 months and 24 days later, at a cost of $66 million.The building has played host to the 1993 NBA All-Star Weekend, two NBA Finals, the 1999 U.S.
Frankfurt’s central location makes it one of the main transports hubs in Europe, meaning that it is very well connected both nationally and internationally speaking. The out of town Commerzbank Arena is located very close to both the A3 and A5 motorways which means the stadium has good access from all points of the compass. Commerzbank Arena is located within a sports complex rather than a commercial shopping centre so there aren’t any restaurants nearby within the grounds. Away fans who make the trip to the Commerzbank Arena are housed within the stand located behind the eastern goal-end.
The Lexus Club is one of the more exclusive areas of Vivint Smart Home Arena and provides guests with the following perks during Utah Jazz home games. Basketball fans with access to the Toyota Club will receive the following perks. The only downside to the Courtside Suites is that they do not provide guests with a view of the court. The Utah Jazz bench is located in front of section 6 while the visiting team’s bench is located in front of section 8. The visitor’s tunnel at Vivint Smart Home Arena is located adjacent to sections 10 and 11.
Fans may bring in banners and signs as long as they are no larger than 11″ x 17″. These signs must show support for the group or team at the venue and can’t obstruct the view or disturb any guests. Small digital cameras are also allowed in the stadium, as long as they don’t have detachable lenses or professional equipment with them (tripods, recording devices, etc.). Other prohibited items include beach balls, drones, coolers, flashlights, laser pointers, noise making machines, pepper spray, outside food and beverages, strollers, and anything deemed inappropriate by management. It is close to most of SLC’s major attractions, as both the State Capitol and Temple Square, the home of the Mormon faith, are within a few blocks of the arena. The Great Salt Lake is located about 10 miles from the downtown area and is well worth a visit.
There’s Cubby’s, serving up beloved tri-tip sandwiches and a burger known as the Dragonslayer, which features bleu cheese and buffalo sauce. El Chubasco offers up its signature El Chubby Burrito, not to mention tacos and nachos, and R&R serves barbecue classics like brisket, ribs, pulled pork and chicken.
